My Story
Let me introduce myself, my name is Angela Schepker. I am a licensed veterinary technician in Nebraska. Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, where I attended school at CSN and received my Associates Degree in in Veterinary Technology. I am also a Fear Free Certified Veterinary Technician. Over the 25 plus years, I have learned the essentials of animal care, animal behavior and pet grooming. I learned a lot by working along side skilled veterinarians, technicians and groomers over many years, and performing medical shave downs of matted pets. I started pet sitting back in 1992 as a teenager. Throughout my teenage years, I took care of friend's farm's with horses, cats, dogs and other farm animals. As a teenager and young adult I also participated in AKC breed dog shows with my then, rottweiler. I also participated in many horse shows and gymkhanas. In my 20's and 30's I trained horses in Nevada and Nebraska. Since I started working in Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and graduating vet tech school in 2003 , I have been pet sitting clients pets from the veterinary field. In 2018 I moved to Nebraska. I am married to a wonderful man, John. I have a beautiful teenage daughter Alexis. We moved to Fontanelle in 2020
In my free time I enjoy hiking, walking, thrifting, traveling, reading, and cooking. I also volunteer at rescues and shelters. I have been vegan since 2018 and enjoy making food fun and delicious.
Over the years at our home near Fremont, I found that there was a lack of options near me, for pet sitting and dog boarding. So, I decided to offer pet care to my surrounding areas, near Fremont and Blair, Nebraska.
In 2024, I left my career as a full time veterinary technician and opened my own business, Angela's Pet Care. My love of people and pets has made this a wonderful experience. I am looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies and serving the community around us.
